So, we get to the club and its small as shit. I knew this already from when I performed there but it seemed smaller. Anyway, they were suppose to perform at 9 but the all the acts that were suppose to go on before them either didn't show up or just didn't go on yet. So LTW, who showed up on time, gets asked to go on first which isn't a problem for them. The club is empty when I get there but LTW's fans fill the place up. The asshole who was suppose to be taking money for everyone at the door is walking around taking pictures and shit instead of keeping count. So from this point on, I'm going to refer to him as FUCK BOY. FUCK BOY isn't doing his job, then the stage is so small that the drummer has to setup his drums in front of the stage. You know how many bands would've been like "fuck it, I can't do it, there's no room" and blah blah blah. But no, these cats are fucking professionals! Then when they get playing, the mic sound isn't quite right, but they keep playing and the sound man eventually gets it.
This is how hard they rock, I'm standing still in front of the band and I'm sweating....how ridiculous is that? I'm looking around the room and all I see are people who came to see the band. I don't actually own any rock albums, I bump shit like Nirvana, Fred Durst, Linkin Park, Blink 182 but I don't actually own the album. I'm putting my stamp on Longtime Waiting, when their album comes out, go out and buy that shit!
Oh, and eric has longtime waiting graphics on his guitar, I thought that was kick ass. Danny gave me the ill shout out. I asked people who didn't come there for the band what they thought and they loved it.
Look out for a blog from the band in the next day or so. I'm out, I'm about to go work out to their demo (no homo)
